Gratitude for the Home, Clarity for the Future

The Thanksgiving table is filled with memories. From laughter in the kitchen and children running through the halls, to the whole family gathered around the dining room table. The house itself becomes a central character in your family story.

However, what happens to that home when parents or grandparents pass away? Without planning, even the most cherished family home can end up tangled in probate court.

This Thanksgiving, start the conversation:

  • Pull out the property Deeds and review how they are Titled.

  • Ask: is the home in both names? In a trust? Or left exposed to probate?

  • Discuss how the family wants to keep the home, sell it, or pass it down.

By putting property into a Living Trust or setting up a Deed Upon Death, families can avoid probate and preserve both memories and money.

A caring way to show gratitude for your family is to give them clarity and protection for the home you’ve built together.
